The counseling program further supports the mission of Lehman High School by maximizing its ability to reach all students by providing a freshmen orientation program, classroom developmental lessons, group an individual counseling, as well as individual college and career consultations. All interventions and efforts to advocate for our students’ well being are driven by data and based on results. To further meet the needs of our students various collaborative programs have been implemented. We have a parent coordinator, the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP), Substance Abuse Prevention Intervention Specialist (S.A.P.I.S) formally known as the SPARK program and a variety of teams and clubs. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate the growth and development of a confident and knowledgeable young person who will be able to thrive as a citizen in our nation.
